The BC Lions have picked up QB Kevin Glenn from Ottawa in exchange for the 5th overall pick in todays CFL draft.
Glenn has been in the Lions sights for a while, as the club looked for a solid, experienced backup for Travis Lulay.
The 13 year CFL veteran spent the past two seasons with the Calgary Stampeders following 3 years in Hamilton, five in Winnipeg and 3 in Saskatchewan.
“Kevin gives us immediate experience at the quarterback position behind Travis Lulay”, said VP of football operations and GM Wally Buono. “He’s a proven winner, a great locker room guy and he’ll make us better”.
Glenn wanted no part of playing for the Renegades and had previously balked at reporting to the team.
